Spirit Gallery Didgeridoos & William Barton at the Sydney Opera House

Our good friend William Barton will be performing at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday 3rd August with the Australian Youth Orchestra. William came in earlier in the week before rehearsals to pick out the didgeridoos he will be using.

William knows a good didge when he sees one and these three beauties caught his attention- a CrookedStixz Didgeridoo (left) Tristan O’meara Didgeridoo (middle) and Bruce Rogers (right). Three of the countries top instrument makers all on stage at the Opera House- awesome!!

The Spirit Gallery team will be attending the event and there are still a limited number of tickets left for the evening.

Watch Adam “CrookedStixz” Henwood Making A Didgeridoo

During our trip to the Melbourne didgeridoo festival in March we spent a couple of days with CrookedStixz didgeridoos himself, Mr Adam Henwood.

He was kind enough to allow us to film him for the entire day as he crafted and shaped a didgeridoo from a raw log into a finished didgeridoo.

Many thanks to Adam for allowing us to share this with the didge world. Enjoy!

Spirit Gallery Didgeridoo Road Trip

Didge maker Tristan O'Meara (left) and Reno Safarian from Spirit Gallery loading up the van with didges

We regularly like to visit our makers and lucky for Matt and Reno of Spirit Gallery most of the top didge makers in the country are located in a 1000km stretch along the East Coast of Australia.

The boys went on a 4 day road trip leaving Sydney and finishing up at Byron Bay where they met up with Adam ” CrookedStixz” Henwood in his new home.

Along the way they visited Brad Hagelstein, Kristian Benton, Tristan Omeara and Nathan Burton. Our didge makers are our close friends and it was a great learning experience and catch up over the few days.

The good news for Spirit Gallery customers is they came home with over 150 didges. There are some amazing didges in this bunch from various makers at various price points

Nothing beats hand picking your didgeridoos and allows us to maintain the quality we are renowned for.

We will endeavour to upload all these didges onto our website over the next 3-4 weeks

Spirit Gallery Featured on the Erin Simpson Show

For all the kiwi’s out there, the crew from the Erin Simpson show recently visited Australia and filmed some of their popular tv show right here in the heart of Sydney.

During their feature on Sydney’s attractions they spent an afternoon filming from Spirit Gallery. They were kind enough to send us some of the footage.
